Had a chance to do some intricate line drawing for this illustration! It was interesting, and almost therapeutic, drawing all of these buildings and windows and streets and antenna and, and, and… And then I got to loosen up and work on a few lifestyle spots of things happening in front of the architecture. Great layout by the AD too.
I knew so little about kale, actually nothing, until I moved back upstate and joined a local CSA. I grew to love it, sorry, I didn’t really intend for the pun, and enjoy it in plenty of dishes. But by far my favorite turned out to be a local entrepreneurs kale chips and pesto. You forget how good they are for you. A healthy snack is great to have on hand late at night. She brought the chips to market and asked me to work on the logo for the package. I found a bag, empty unfortunately, while cleaning up the other day.
